Toussaint Louverture was one of  the greatest generals and  revolutionists that ever lived. He fought and defeated the British, Spanish and French Empires. His victories lead to Haiti becoming the first independent black republic in the World and the end of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. 

Uncle Toussaint’s life is an inspiring tale of overcoming a system of racism and oppression. He was a remarkable ruler, enlightened thinker and a brilliant general. He dreamt of freedom for all enslaved Africans and fought courageously towards that vision.
